Soma Breath is base on Pranayama, an ancient breathing exercises and techniques that have numerous health benefits. In Pranayama you breathe less, and it has been scientifically proven limiting oxygen is better for you and allows you to live longer, and prevents disease.

The Soma Breath is a three phrase process, rhythmic breathing, holding your breath out and holding your breath in. Breathing in a rhythmic pattern of e.g 2 :4, 4;4 it harmonise all the functions in the body, and bring it into balance. It also harmonise the parasynthetic and make it more balance too. So that your energy is neither too high or too low which keeps you in a balance state . it also raises the magnetic field of the heart.

Breathing through the nose and breathing out through the mouth. When we breath in the nostril and into the belly we absorb more oxygen and stay more relax, switching on parasynthetic and switching off stress. The rhythm makes it smooth and connected. It’s important to breathe through the diaphragm so that we have more parasynthetic nervous receptors in the lower lobes of our lungs.

It’s all about breathing in rhythm. It creates harmony within the body. By taking a deep breath in and completely out and holding the breath for a period of time it relaxes all the muscles in the body, placing a positive response on the nervous system, lowering oxygen level and building up CO2. Stem cells can only survive in a low oxygen level. Then the CO2 moves to the other parts of the body and produces more energy.
